What better way to use the afternoon sun than a stroll by the river? Hundreds of couples, families and tourists are here on the banks of the river to take in the evening sun. For me the evening sun allows an attempt to capture and document this moment. People casually saunter up and down, promenading, gazing at out at the water, stopping for opportunities to take romantic photographs of themselves in the scenery. Leaves tumble from the trees and are swept up in gentle breezes. There is a gentle flow here, a rhythm that is different to the city streets. The movement of the river pours out onto the banks and the people become like ducks paddling down the stream, allowing energy the water to carry them forward. |
